Terms of service

Basirah is a Saudi platform that prepares you for consulting interviews and your career journey, powered by AI. It is owned and run by its founder in her personal capacity, referred to here as “Basirah” or “we”.

By using the platform or creating an account, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

• Your account is for you alone: don't share your password or let anyone else use your account or subscription.
• Give accurate details. You are responsible for everything done from your account.
• You can ask us to delete your account at any time from the contact page, with the topic “Delete my account”.

You use Basirah to learn and practise for yourself. You may not:

• Copy, sell, publish or share the content with others (see “Content rights”).
• Use automated tools to collect content, or try to get around plan limits or the platform's security.
• Use Basir or the Community for anything unrelated to practice, or to abuse or harass anyone.
• Impersonate anyone, or post anything that breaks the laws of Saudi Arabia.

If you break these terms we may suspend or delete your account, with no refund.

• Every experience, question and reply is reviewed by the Basirah team before it is published. We may edit it (for example, to remove names) or decline it.
• Don't name people, and don't share confidential material from any employer, such as case or test material you agreed not to share.
• By sending a post, you allow Basirah to publish it on the platform and edit it for that purpose. Experiences and questions are published without your name; a reply shows your first name only.
• What is published in the Community is its authors' view and experience, not Basirah's.

Basir is an AI interviewer for interview practice. Its feedback and scores are for learning only, and can sometimes be wrong.

No content, assessment or score on Basirah guarantees that you will pass an interview or get a job.

All rights reserved by Basirah. All content on the platform belongs to Basirah, including:

• Courses, lessons, videos, quizzes and drills.
• Cases and their model solutions, and PDF files.
• Frameworks, flashcards, cheat sheets, the glossary and the interview guides.
• The name, logo and design.

Copying, sharing, publishing, selling or uploading any of this content anywhere, in whole or in part, including PDF files, is prohibited without Basirah's written permission. Basirah may take legal action to protect its rights.

What you write for yourself (such as your CV and your stories) stays yours.

• Prices are in Saudi riyals and include VAT. Payment goes through Moyasar.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Subscriptions are non-refundable. See the refund policy for details.
• We may change prices or plan features; no change applies to a period you have already paid for.

Basirah is in beta, and some sections are marked “soon”. We work to keep the platform available, but it may sometimes pause for maintenance or for reasons outside our control, and we may add, change or stop sections.

As far as the law allows, Basirah is not liable for any indirect loss arising from use of the platform.

These terms are governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.

We may update these terms; the date of the last update is shown at the top, and we'll tell you about any important change. Continuing to use the platform after an update means you accept it.

If the Arabic text and the English translation differ, the Arabic text governs.
